Getting started

Step 1: Sign upCopied!

  • Sign up with Google for a fast and secure experience

  • Sign up manually with email and password

📌 Tip: Use a work email for easier account recovery and team collaboration.

Once signed in, Acctual will guide you through a few quick steps to personalize your experience.

  • Select your account type

  • You’ll be asked to choose between:

    • Individual → Best for freelancers or sole proprietors

    • Business → Best for registered companies or entities

  • Enter your details

  • Fill in the following fields:

    • Name – Your full name

    • Company (optional) – Enter your business name if applicable

    • Description (optional) – A short description of your business

  • Click continue to proceed

📌 Tip: Choosing the right account type ensures your invoices and payment options are correctly set up.

  • Choose a plan

  • Next, you’ll see the Choose your plan page. Acctual offers:

    • Free Plan → Great for individuals getting started

    • Growth Plan → Includes automation and batch payments

    • Company Plan → Advanced approvals and integrations

    • Enterprise Plan → Custom solutions for large-scale operations

📌 Tip: No credit card required to start.You can also upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings.

  • Connect your accounting system (Optional)

  • Click Connect your accounting system

  • Choose from:

    • QuickBooks – Import accounts, vendors, and customers

    • Xero – Import accounts and contacts

    • I use something else – Export data for other accounting systems

    • I don’t use one – Skip for now

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection.

  • After setup, you’ll land on the welcome page, where you can:

  • Create an invoice – Start sending invoices immediately

  • Add a bill – Upload and pay a bill

  • Setup flexible payment options - Start accepting fiat and crypto

  • Set up transfers - move your funds around

📌 Tip: Bookmark your Acctual dashboard for quick access!
